Fruit Crusher Mash for Juice Pressing
Match fruit crusher mash to the juice press by testing drainage, coarse fragments and retained solids rather than screen size alone.
Start at the press
Identify the press type, permitted input and normal loading cycle. The crusher duty is to prepare acceptable feed for that equipment, so acceptance should include performance at the press rather than only an inspection of mash leaving the crusher.
Compare the mash
Record the working assembly, speed, clearances and any screen opening. Keep comparable output samples and observe coarse fragments, fines, free liquid, drainage and retained solids. Screen aperture is a hardware dimension, not a measured particle distribution.
Define the handover
Agree outlet height and gravity, pump or conveyor transfer. Include buffer volume, receiver-full response and cleanable connections. Stop the crusher feed when the next stage cannot accept mash.
