Pear Crusher Selection for Juice Processing
Review pear ripeness, feed consistency, mash retention and press compatibility before selecting a PS series crusher configuration.
FRUIT & PROCESS FIT
Account for changes in pear firmness and ripeness.
Application suitability and capacity are confirmed against the actual feed and offered working assembly.
Discuss this fruit requirement
Define the real feed
Pear variety and ripeness can change the handling condition from one batch to the next. Specify the softest and firmest expected feed, preparation, temperature and largest permitted piece rather than describing the duty only as pear processing.
Watch material retention
Observe bridging at the inlet and accumulation around the working assembly and outlet during the representative trial. Check stop/restart behaviour with the actual fruit condition instead of assuming a continuous free-flowing feed.
Set the press requirement
Agree acceptable mash with the selected press. Evaluate retained solids and drainage from the trial mash; crushing is preparation for pressing, not evidence of juice yield or an extraction guarantee.
Choose on a stated basis
Use the PS model table as a starting reference. Confirm actual feed rate and mash condition together, then review discharge, electrical supply, access and cleaning with the proposed installation.
